How does adCause work?

adCause matches advertisers with publishers (twitter users). Publishers will get paid show ads in their twitter feed. The more influence you have on twitter, the more money you will make.

What do I need to try it out?

To join and use adCause you will need the following:

• Twitter Username and Password (this is how we interface to twitter to display ads)
• Information like: Your name, phone number, address, email address
• If you live in the US: Your SSN or TAX ID Number (You don't want the tax man to come a knocking do ya?)

Will people stop following me if I display ads.

There is a chance that some of your twitter friends will quit following you because of the ads, but when you explain the service to them they are likely to come back.

Do I have to give money to a charity or a cause?

Of course not, you can keep all the dough for yourself, but why not throw your favorite cause or charity a bone. Other users will be more accepting of you displaying ads if they know that some or all of the proceeds are going to a good cause.

What is adCause displays an ad I don't want to appear on my feed?

Because you are in complete control of the advertisers that you approve or deny, you don't ever have to worry about showing an ad you weren't prepared for. If you run network ads, you can be assured that they will match your subject matter.

I want to by and sell ads, do I have to sign up for more then one account?

When you sign up you have the option to either be an advertiser, a publisher or both.

I live outside of the US, can I use adCause?

As long as you have a paypal account, and can receive payments in $ (USD) you should be golden.

Are you associated with Twitter?

Nope, we are not affiliated with Twitter Inc. Though we hope to be someday (wink wink guys).
